Still a Girl

The ultra-sound tech double-checked to make sure it's still a girl and sure enough, it is! The reason for the third ultra-sound was to check the placement of my placenta, and it is where it needs to be, so praise God! Little Lady is approximately 2.8 lbs and is due July 13th! If she's early she'll share a birthday with AMERICA! Ha ha!

29 Weeks 2 days!

29 weeks (wallace is such a diva)
The delicious Caprese Paninis I made for din! One of my faves!

Here we are, 29 weeks and 2 days preg! Everything has been going smoothly and I have been feeling really, really good. All things considered I have had a fantastic pregnancy thus far. The mood swings have tapered off and I am mostly just hungry all the time. As she grows bigger I am finding that I can't eat a large quantity at one time because we're running out of room!

I have continued to find great stuff at garage sales and my friend Katie recently gave us a bag full of girly stuff as well as a hand-me-down Baby Bjorn! Awesome! We are so thankful for all the bits of encouragement people have shown and we hope you will keep us in your prayers as we make it through the 3rd Trimester!

They All Made it Back

Brian, Seth, Will and Tom.

I am happy to report that all five guys made it back to their homes intact after the "Mancation" to Vegas! I am especially glad to report that Jordan came back with all the money he left with in addition to several hundred more!!! He took our camera and I was totally surprised that there were any pictures taken at all! As I am looking at the pictures he took, I notice how big and bright his smile is and see just how very much he adores these guys!
p.s. yes, the "stunnas" made an appearance.

The Boys

Tom, Jordan, and Brian
The boys arrived this evening and will leave tomorrow morning for VEGAS! It is so good to see them and listen to them giggle about sports, college days, getting old, men's league softball, and pulling rotater cuffs and hamstrings.

An under-bite only a mother could love.

The Boys

This knuckle-head...
...and this knuckle-head are coming to visit on WEDNESDAY!! They are flying into PHX and then road-tripping it to VEGAS on Thursday to meet Seth and Will for a "Man"cation. A few special occasions prompted this trip. Tom, Seth, and Will are all getting married this summer and Jordan is gonna be a Pops soon! Fun times for the boys, I really can't describe how excited Jordan has been about this trip! Wallace and I can't wait to see Tom and Brian!!!

Community Garage Sale!

I am not usually an avid garage-saler, but when some ladies at work said they were going, I thought I'd give it a go! I totally scored some great stuff including a jumperoo, brand spanking new bedding for Baby Duvall, a couple clothing items, a ducky bath-tub toy holder, and a brand new yellow purse!! All for the low price of $49.00!
The baby bedding was not exactly what I wanted, but for $15.00 and never been out of it's package, it's perfect!! What a blessing! Next weekend is our community's sale and I will be sure to swing around to see what else I can find!

The Adventures of Wallace and Gumbo

Last weekend we offered to watch Ryan and Claudia's dog, Gumbo, while they went to Las Vegas. Wallace and Gumbo love spending time together as evident by the following pictures: First, Wallace busted Gumbo out of his kennel so they could play.
Then they sunbathed...

...and then they did this for the next 72 hours.

...TRUE FRIENDSHIP...

25 Weeks

25 weeks (26 on Saturday) and growing! It seems as though I have "popped" as they say. Customers at work are now outwardly asking when the baby is due and not asking the round-about questions like, "Do you have any children" or "I've heard one of you here at the bank is pregnant..."
She is kicking away and I can feel it all. In fact, Jordan was able to feel her kick about two weeks ago and it was a pretty special moment for both of us! I have still been snappy and moody, but making an effort to be nice !
My appetite is finally picking up. Yesterday was my day off and Jordan and I started the day with a big hearty breakfast; eggs with cheese, ham, and fruit. About 45 minutes later, when we were running errands I felt like I could eat a horse! Luckily I made it home before making a bad decision, i.e. a drive-thru.
We will have another ultra-sound in two weeks to check my placenta's postition and to see little peanut again! We are amazed, excited, and anxious that in about 3 1/2 months we will be bringing a little one home! Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

The Big Guy's Birthday

Jordan's 26th Birthday started with his favorite breakfast, Machaca, and ended with a caramel brownie sundae! He even had it served on the "You Are Special Today" plate! In between the food was a couple softball games and two Redbox movies, a great day!! Happy Birthday to you Jordie!!!

The BOB has Arrived!

This is the part Jordan has been waiting for! Jordan's family pitched in together to buy this sweet stroller for us! What was the first thing we did to celebrate? Chased Wallace around the living room of course...BAD IDEA, we know. We soon realized that he is now a little skiddish around it, so now we are trying to reverse the damage we caused ! :)
