Merry Christmas

Jordan had to pick up his gear from work on Christmas Eve, and has to walk on the roof to get to his broadcasting booth...so we made it a photo opp !

Stocking stuffers - Bit o' Honey for Jordan...Sour gummy worms for preggers (I've wouldn't say I've been craving these, but I am more drawn to sour and salty things, which is very unusual for me)

We had the most wonderful Christmas Eve Eve dinner on Wed. night. Jordan picked me up from work and we went downtown to our favorite sushi joint, stuffed ourselves, and came home to open presents and watch Four Christmas. Perfect evening.
We received so many wonderful Christmas presents from each of our families...one in particular was our first article of baby gear... Jody and Whit sent this baby sleeper sack and when I opened it, the waterworks started. And then Jordan did what he does best and made me laugh!! This is what we're in store for if we have a boy:) YIKES!
For Christmas Eve we had a homemade Italian feast at coaches house with the team! Jordan packed up for his early departure (3:30 am), we went to church and then went to our friends, Ryan and Claudia's house for Christmas dinner. It was a great Christmas Eve spent with great friends...If you can't spend it with family, friends are the next best thing! Hope that this week and today has been a wonderful day for you and your family and may 2010 be one to remember!!!
... LOVE YOU ALL ...

The boys cleaned up everything, they are peaches.

Wallace ate too much turkey :)
My parents and Todd were able to join us for Thanksgiving this year and it was wonderful to have them all in our new place! We had a lot more elbow room than we did last year in the apartment! I'm stuffed all over again just looking at the pics!

Quarter-Century OLD!

The sweet presents my brother brought me for my birthday - A baby name book, lotion and potions, and a JET SPA FOOTBATH!!! awesome!

And the WONDERFUL bag Jim and Jill sent me!!
Last week I had the most wonderful birthday! Our friends Ryan and Claudia surprised me at work with flowers and Jordan bought me a massage and was super sweet all day! Thank you all so much for the calls, texts, cards, and gifts, I am one lucky (and old) girl!

We're Pregnant!

As most of you know by now, Jordan and I will be expecting our first kiddo in July 2010!!! We are ecstatic and are still finding ourselves wondering if it's really happening! This is a picture from our first ultrasound. We are 7 weeks-4days. Sorry for the poor picture quality but when I told the tech we had brought a CD to capture some pics, she told me it was too late and that I should have told her at the beginning of the exam. How was I to know??? I've never done this before!! I was a little peeved.
It's still very early but if you think of it, would you keep us in your prayers for an uneventful pregnancy and the healthy growth of our little babe?

Excitement!

Lately Jordan and I have both been sick...Like, yucky sticks-around-for-a-week sick. No good. Plus we've been dealing with the stresses of a struggling hockey team (makes everyone involved cranky). But, on happier notes, the Sundogs won tonight 9-ZERO!!!! YAY! And......MY FAMILY IS COMING FOR THANKSGIVING!!! DOUBLE YAY! and Jim and Jill are coming for NEW YEARS!! TRIPLE YAY!! Life really is good and I feeling especially grateful lately for the blessings in my life!

Only Good Things...

... come from this can. This is true love.

New Ride

We decided to trade in our Jeep (money pit) for a budget-friendly and gas-friendly '05 Spectra. Jordan is referring to it as his R.C. car.
Change is good!

The party people

Leanne, the birthday girl

Jordan and I were invited to a surprise party for Leanne, the owner and spin instructor at Anytime Fitness...it was the first surprise party that Jordan has been to and he really delivered a big "SUR-PRISE!!" for Leanne ... it was pretty funny... then we headed to another friends house for some more bbq and Rockband. I forgot to take more pictures after the first party, but believe me, there was lots of karaoke fun being had and Jordan may have injured his wrist playing the drums all night. Hope you had a great weekend also!!!

Rockies vs. D-Backs

Last night we drove to Phoenix to catch the Rockies game with our friends Ryan and Claudia. Of course the first stop was Chipotle {they love it even more than we do}. After we stuffed ourselves silly we got to Chase Field, which has a retractable roof. The roof was closed for this game because it was still 105 degrees at 5:00 pm, thank goodness!! We bought seats in the outfield so Jordan brought his glove in hopes of catching a home-run ball...{Jordan informed me that when the roof is closed there are lots more home-runs} There were four homers i think but we did not catch any of them :( Fun night for sure!!! GO ROCKIES!

Official Vacation Photo

There were a bajillion pictures taken on vacation and this was the official family picture !!

Magic Mexican Pottery

When we were in Mexico, as has become tradition, we chose and painted pottery to bring home as a souvenir... This may not sound all too exciting, but believe me it is. The people who run the pottery stand take the art home at night to "fix it up" and fire it. They are true artists and what you end up with is a piece of perfection. Here is the before and after of my little bowl.
