Dress Rehearsal

{Conan O'Brien, is that you?}

Today Jordan and I got to babysit for a co-worker of mine! This is little Liam, he's three months old and cute as pie. We think he sort of resembles Conan O'Brien. It was a really fun day and a good chance for us to get more comfortable with small children! I changed the diapers, Jordan disposed of them...TEAMWORK! We had a great day with this little man and it makes us look forward to meeting our own peanut VERY soon!

Pool, How I love Thee

Today was our first pool session of the season!! It's so relaxing but I got pretty hot, pretty quick and we left after about an hour or so. We are determined to not get F-R-I-E-D like we did this time last year, so it's probably okay that we did not stay out too long!!
Spring/Summer is here in Arizona!!!

Mother's Day

"A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind percepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts."
- Washington Irving

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. But mostly to the two greatest mamas I have ever met. Words are not enough to express my gratitude and admiration for the two of you, so I will just say that I love you both and hope you answer the phone when Baby Charlie has poop coming out her nose and I don't know what to do :)

Charlie Gail Duvall

I suppose we should announce that we have decided within the last week or so that her name will be Charlie Gail Duvall! And I will cut the first person that calls her Chuck. Todd, I will forgive the first one.
We have not officially decided how we will spell Charlie (Charley is the other option) so no personalized pencils, state licence plate key rings, or shot glasses for her yet.

Wowza

What a weekend...I am too exhausted to fully post about our ordeal, but know that God is mighty, and good, and everything He promises to be.
