Every once in a while I will come across a product that is good enough to blog about and this is the most recent! I have always loved Girard's Champagne Dressing, but the light variety is just as good and a lot less bad for you! This week I put it on a chicken and veggie pasta dish (instead of a buttery sauce) and it instantly became a masterpiece! LOVE IT!
My wonderful friend, Melissa, who lives in Florida happened to be in town yesterday for a wedding! So after work I hopped in the Jeep and headed down to Glendale ... Little did we realize, the Arizona Cardinals playoff game was letting out just as we were meeting for dinner. Needless to say, traffic was insane, but we made it and enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Yardhouse with some of her Teten family and friends! It was just so good to see her and her husband John. Oh, and the Yardhouse is awesome if you're looking for a good restaurant, with the worlds largest selection of draft beer - they also do the Half-Yard-of-beer ... Anyway, good times with my Meliss!
We welcomed 2009 in usual fashion, with a hockey game...After that we all headed back to our apartment complex (where most of us live) and played card games, shared laughs, and flips onto the Love Sack! It was definitely a good time and I am so thankful for the friendships we have made here in Arizona, that make it easier to be away from home.
