Happenings

1. I could have edited out Teddy's large pimple (on his cheek, his forehead is always red),  but today we're character building.
2. In order to cut her hair I created the perfect storm of Caillou Distraction, well, just Caillou Distraction.
3. Who needs playground equipment?
4. She stayed perched atop her Pampers for 4 minutes. Which is longer than I've seen her sit still, umm, ever.

4 Truths

Q: Were we all in bed by 8:18 pm last night?
A: Yes.

Q: Did we miss Trash Day this morning?
A: Yes.

Q: Are 3/4 of the people in this house battling a case of the sniffles?
A: Yes.

Q: Did I trim Charlie's hair this morning with kitchen scissors?
A: Yes.

These questions are too easy.

Blogger...

... is giving me headache. Pardon the construction while I revamp the ol' bloggysite.

Here's a picture of the second-born to hold you over:

Boo.

In an attempt to refresh my mood I decided to try a homemade face mask meant to energize your skin. The original recipe seemed to make a slumber party size quantity so I cut it in half and still have enough for two more masks {one for me, one for Jordan?}. Here's exactly what I did:

2 T. ground coffee
2T. cocoa powder
1 T. Lemon juice (they said use honey if you have dry skin, lj if you have oily skin)
2 T. milk (I used 2% bc it's what I had, they said use more or less depending on how thick you like your mask)

I applied it, let it dry (about 20 min) and then with a hot washcloth wiped it all off...It was lovely, made my skin kind of glow and felt smoother, thanks to the grit in the coffee grounds...I give it two thumbs up!
